It was our sincere privilege this year to serve the hungry of Las Cruces at the El Caldito soup kitchen as part of our Easter celebration at Crossroads Church. This was a perfect example of our vision to “take the church to the people.” In all, around 170 people got a hot meal. We also had a program and handed out Easter Baskets for the kids.

Around 30 of us from Crossroads helped out in preparing the meal. All three of our home churches were represented, as well as some guests. In all, although it was just one meal, God worked to show His love and light to those who came. We pray that we may remain filled, even as we hunger all the more for Jesus Christ.
